Bowers Neurosurgical Frailty and Outcomes Data Science Lab
Welcome to the Bowers Neurosurgical Frailty and Outcomes Lab, where we are dedicated to advancing the field of neurosurgery by studying frailty and its impact on patient outcomes. We believe that our research will lead to improved outcomes and better patient care, and we are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those affected by neurological conditions.
NERVE: Neurosurgery Education and Research Virtual Experience Group
We have a particular focus on disadvantaged students, with preference given to students interested in neurosurgery/neurology/neuroscience/psychiatry, those who do not have a home program and/or a national organization chapter (AANS, AAN, etc.) in their specialty of interest at their home institution, those underrepresented in medicine/their specialty of choice, first generation medical students, and those currently enrolled in their first through third year of medical school or in research fellowship years.
SAOAO: Student American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics
The Student AOAO group began in 2006 and stems from the vision of a student run organization under the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics (AOAO, The Academy). The founders of SAOAO believe that students interested in the specialty of orthopedic surgery can contribute to the growth and success of AOAO. The mission of SAOAO is to serve as a resource for students to network, collaborate, and learn from each other. SAOAO aims to educate and represent osteopathic orthopedic surgeons of the future.
